Signal to Noise!

This time featuring:

Joe Rosenberg, reeds (Bali)

sOo Jung-Kae, piano (Seoul)

Edward Perraud, drums and percussion (Paris)

Peter Scherr, bass (Hong Kong)

Joe Rosenberg has written for and led a number of superb ensembles, but those who have followed his music all agree, Signal To Noise is the one. And that’s saying something considering what’s been said of his previous groups:
“It is the substance that is monumental to Joe’s music.” Cadence/CIMP • Robert Rusch
“Strongly written themes which seem to encapsulate much of what has gone on in jazz post-Parker...Tense, urgent and always immediate...” Cook & Morton - Penguin Guide to Jazz on CD
“It’s like a median path which boosts the history of modern jazz with an energy which invigorates a special dynamic classicism.” Philippe Alen – Improjazz Paris
